Keep Calm!

Keep Calm and Carry On is everywhere! On mugs, posters, napkins, you name it! I was bored this evening and stumbled upon this brilliant version of Keep Calm and Carry on.

The above statement reminds me of two things.

About Me

Hi Everyone! I'm Rachel and I'd like to introduce you to my blog. I'm a strong willed, independent 30 something, who was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the age of 9 (and went undiagnosed for several years). I live in Michigan with my husband, Brad, two little dogs, Lucy & Sukye, and my four step children (who split their time here) and our most recent addition, our (foster) son Tyler. I work full time as an insurance agent and enjoy what I do (insurance agents are pretty fun people). I hope to connect with other's suffering from Crohn's & IBD. Maybe with all of our strength we can find a cure for this disease!!

My Spare Time: I love to exercise, spend time with my family and cook! When I feel well, I'm full speed ahead with everything I do. Right now my food options are limited due to lovely Crohn's. I'm learning to make other boring food choices, but love to cook for my family.
